Its letter and numeral pairing is set in the clear, functional typography of official road signage, with no decorative flourish around it. The layout is minimal and centred on the marker, so it reads the way a driver would take it on approach: quickly and without distraction.

Meaning & Symbolism

Route markers are navigational shorthand. Each code identifies a specific route within the national transport network, and B68 tells a motorist which road they are on and where it leads. Here that small code stands for the wider system that guides people across Australia, from highway runs to regional detours. It is a piece of everyday infrastructure lifted off the roadside and turned into a keepsake for anyone who has spent hours behind the wheel.

Raising a Glass to the Open Road

A road sign is built to be read from a distance, at speed. On this glass the marker is read close and slowly, in the hand, which suits a design made for people who like the journey as much as the destination. The tall, curved body gives the B68 room to wrap around the glass as it is turned, so each sip brings a different angle of the sign into view. It is a cheeky nod to the road trip, and a good reason to pour something for the friend who always does the driving.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/aus-alphanumeric-route-b68-australia-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-SLPH-16OZ-1FV86-front.webp?v=1793625183
