The letter C and the digits 135 sit together as one identifier, with nothing competing for attention around them. The composition follows the logic of a road sign: the code is the whole subject, presented straight on and kept clear and legible. Its utilitarian mood comes from that restraint, with no decoration, no scenery and no ornament added to the lettering.

What the Code Signals

C135 is a route designation within the Australian road network, the kind of label that lets travellers and motorists find their way across the country. Route identifiers like this one are part of the national transport system's everyday signage conventions. The design honours that infrastructure by treating the code as information worth reading closely, showing how a few characters can organise a long journey and the many roads that carry it.

Close at Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the code reads at arm's length, the way a route marker is read from a passenger seat. Raised to the lips and set down again, the C135 sits in front of you as a fixed point of geography. It suits anyone who has followed a route number across Australian country, or who simply enjoys signage that does its job without fuss.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/aus-alphanumeric-route-c135-australia-road-sign-shot-glass-15oz-GMY-SHOT-SLPH-1P5OZ-1FUZN-front.webp?v=1793634687
