A black heraldic shield sits at the centre, bearing a red goblet or chalice, and a laurel wreath circles the emblem. A sword lies horizontally across the composition, and a Roman-style helmet crest rises above the shield. Cream, olive green and a touch of gold accent the figures, and the flat vector treatment keeps every element crisp.

Meaning & Symbolism

The chalice is the Hussite symbol, standing for Czech autonomy, resistance and the pursuit of independence. The banner was adopted on 2 February 1919 in Yekaterinburg, while the Czechoslovak Legions were stationed in Russia. The emblem brings Czech and Slovak national identity together and records the military and political history that led to the formation of the Czechoslovak state.

The Chalice Held in Your Hand

A mug is turned in the hand, so the shield and chalice come into view as the cup rotates and the wreath curves around the body. The bold red field reads strongly from every side, and the black shield gives the emblem a firm centre that stays visible with each turn.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/banner-of-the-first-assault-battalion-of-the-czechoslovak-legions-obverse-slovakia-white-coffee-mug-11oz-position1.webp?v=1772536980
https://gomugyourself.com/products/banner-of-the-first-assault-battalion-of-the-czechoslovak-legions-obverse-slovakia-white-coffee-mug
