br-245-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
BR-245 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

BR-245 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

This design sets the words of a single Brazilian highway junction, BR-245 jct, in plain, confident type, as if it were lettered onto a roadside sign.

Visual Elements & Composition

The artwork is minimal. Text does all the work, with no illustration, border or decoration competing for attention. The lettering dominates the field, and the designation "BR-245" reads first, followed by "jct" and "(Brazil)", so the eye moves through the name the way a driver reads a sign at speed. The layout is centred and direct, with generous open space around the characters that keeps the composition quiet and orderly.

Meaning & Symbolism

The "BR" prefix marks a federal highway in Brazil's national road network, and "jct" is the standard abbreviation for junction, the point where two routes meet and drivers choose a direction. The design turns that small, practical piece of infrastructure into a subject in its own right. A junction is a place of decision, and this artwork honours it as a point on the map, celebrating the way roads knit a large country together.

Made for the Mixing Glass

A mixing glass is tall, narrow and held close, so the lettering wraps a curved surface that is read at arm's length, one line at a time. The text stays legible as the glass turns in the hand, and the designation becomes a small, deliberate reference point for anyone who has ever taken the wrong turn and found the right road anyway.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/br-245-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-BR245-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793793365
