br-328-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
BR-328 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

BR-328 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

This design reproduces the shield-shaped route marker for Brazilian federal highway BR-328, isolated in black and white with nothing around it.

Visual Elements & Composition

The artwork is flat and graphic, built from just two colours: black at roughly one-seventh of the field and white filling the rest. The shield sits centred, with a rounded bottom that dips to a pointed notch and a double-outlined border running inside its edge. The letters BR sit above 328, set in bold, evenly spaced type that reads at a glance. Nothing competes with them. The empty white space around the shield is part of the composition, giving the marker room to stand on its own.

Meaning & Symbolism

The BR prefix identifies a federal highway in Brazil's national road network, and 328 is the number that marks this particular route. Route shields like this one exist to be recognised quickly from a moving vehicle, so the design carries the plain authority of official wayfinding signage. The junction in the name points to a meeting place where routes divide or join, a small but essential point in the logic of long-distance travel.

Built for the Hand, Read from the Lip

A pint glass is a tall, curved surface that you turn slowly as you drink, so the shield's vertical form and bold numerals travel around the glass and reappear with each turn. The design suits a glass that gets passed across a table, with the route number facing whoever holds it. For anyone who has followed the BR-328 on a map or driven its stretch of road, the glass becomes a small souvenir of the journey, poured into every time it is used.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/br-328-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-BR328-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793795622
