br-363-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
BR-363 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

BR-363 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

This design takes the form of a Brazilian highway marker, rendered in black and white with the route designation BR-363 jct at its centre.

Visual Elements & Composition

The artwork is a flat vector shield, white on black or black on white, with a rounded lower edge and a pointed notch at its centre. A double-outlined border frames the shape, and the lettering sits squarely within it. Nothing decorative competes with the text. The letters BR and 363 dominate the field, with the word jct marking the junction. The palette is roughly four parts white to one part black, which keeps the sign crisp and easy to read.

Meaning & Symbolism

The BR prefix identifies a federal highway in Brazil's national road network, and 363 is the number assigned to this particular route. The shield itself is the standard form of Brazilian route marking, so the design speaks the visual language of the road system directly. The abbreviation jct is the kind of annotation used on maps and signage to show where one route meets another. Together, the elements record a single point on a long road, the kind of place travellers and cartographers look for.

On the Mixing Glass

A mixing glass is a tall, straight vessel that rewards a closer look as it is turned in the hand, and this shield sits well on that rounded surface. The narrow base gives a steady grip, and the shield's notch points down toward it, so the sign reads upright whenever the glass is held. It makes a good conversation starter for anyone who has driven a Brazilian highway, or who simply enjoys the quiet logic of road signs.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/br-363-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-BR363-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793802185
