br-367-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
BR-367 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

BR-367 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

This design takes a single piece of Brazilian road signage and renders it as a crisp, flat graphic, with nothing added to distract from the marker itself.

Visual Elements & Composition

The artwork is built in pure black and white, with black covering roughly a fifth of the field and white the rest. The dominant form is a shield with a rounded top and a downward point at the base, outlined twice so the edge reads as a framed plate. Inside, the letters BR sit above the numerals 367, with the abbreviation jct and the word Brazil giving the sign its location. The layout is centred and symmetrical, and the text carries the whole composition.

Meaning & Symbolism

The shield format follows the highway marker system used across Brazil's federal road network. The BR prefix identifies a federal highway, and 367 is the route number that places this road within that network. The jct abbreviation marks a junction, a point where routes meet and travellers make decisions. Signs of this kind are designed to be read at a glance from a moving vehicle, and the design keeps that directness intact.

Designed for the Mixing Glass

A mixing glass is tall, narrow at its base and held close while it is poured from, so the shield sits within easy view as the glass is lifted and turned. The vertical proportions of the shield suit the glass's upright form, and the double outline wraps neatly around the curve when the glass is held in the hand. Every time it is picked up, the route number comes back into view, which makes the glass a quiet conversation piece for anyone who has ever found themselves at a crossroads.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/br-367-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-BR367-16OZ-1FSGT-front.webp?v=1793802412
