br-503-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
BR-503 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

BR-503 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

This design takes one specific road junction in Brazil, the BR-503, and sets it out as a road sign.

Visual Elements & Composition

The layout is direct. The route designation and the word junction, shortened to "jct" in the title, carry the whole design, with nothing added around them. Because the road-sign framing makes the lettering the picture, the eye reads the code first and the place second, the way a driver would take in a sign at a crossroads.

Meaning & Symbolism

The BR prefix marks a federal highway in Brazil's national road network, so the number places this junction within a single, nationwide system. A junction is the point where two routes meet and a journey can change direction. The design celebrates that moment of decision rather than the scenery around it, which makes it a fitting nod for anyone who has ever relied on a map, a signpost or a good co-driver.

Made for the Mixing Glass in Hand

A mixing glass is lifted, tilted and turned as a drink is stirred and poured, so the sign rotates through view with every movement. The curved walls wrap the design rather than presenting it flat, so the road-sign lettering reads as you hold it up to the light. It is a quiet, cheeky pick for a travelling friend, a road-trip crew or a colleague who keeps the logistics running.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/br-503-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-BR503-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793786083
