The route code BR-577 and the place name Brazil carry the design, with no decorative borders or extra ornament competing for attention. Everything rests on the designation itself, so the eye goes straight to the number and the country it belongs to.

Meaning & Symbolism

A highway code is a small act of naming. BR-577 identifies one place among thousands of kilometres of Brazilian roadway, and the "jct" in the title marks it as a junction, the point where routes split, join and change direction. The design honours that convention of location-based naming, turning a piece of transport infrastructure into something you can read at a glance. It speaks to travel, mapping and the quiet logic of how a country is stitched together by its roads.

On the Mixing Glass

A mixing glass is a tall, curved vessel that sits in the hand while you pour, stir and serve, so the design is read as you hold it, turning slowly at eye level. The narrower base gives a steady grip, and the lettering stays in view from every angle as the glass moves. It makes a cheeky gift for the driver who always knows the shortcut, the cartographer with a standing order of strong drinks, or anyone whose holiday plans begin with a map and end at the bar.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/br-577-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-BR577-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793790241
