brasil-estado-075-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
Brasil estado 075 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

Brasil estado 075 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

This design sets the words "Brasil estado 075 jct" across the surface as a plain, centred line of type, turning a Brazilian state designation into the whole picture.

Visual Elements & Composition

Nothing competes with the lettering. The string sits at the centre of the layout, and each letter and numeral has room to read clearly. The characters carry the full weight of the piece, and the arrangement is structured and direct, favouring legibility over ornament. The result is a minimal composition in which the typography is the only subject, presented much as a sign would present a route marker.

Meaning & Symbolism

The name points to Brazil and to the states that make up its regions, each identified by its own designation. Codes such as "075" and "jct" work as signposts, telling a traveller where they are and where a road leads. The artwork takes that functional language and gives it a place of its own, drawing on the themes of Brazilian regionalism and state identity.

On the Mixing Glass

This is a glass that lives close to the hand, lifted for a stir and poured for a serve. Because the lettering runs in one straight line, it faces the drinker each time the glass is raised, and it reads most clearly as the glass is turned slowly on the bar. It suits a friend who has a habit of tracing their own routes, or anyone who has a Brazilian road marking they want to keep close.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/brasil-estado-075-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-BRSSTD-16OZ-1FQGA-front.webp?v=1793684194
