brasil-estado-313-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
Brasil estado 313 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

Brasil estado 313 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

This design takes a single line of text, Brasil estado 313 jct, and gives it the whole surface to work with.

Visual Elements & Composition

The layout is centred and uncluttered. The words sit at the heart of the design with nothing competing for attention, so every letter and numeral carries equal weight. The sequence is read in order from left to right: the country, the state, the three-digit reference, and the abbreviation for junction. There are no decorative flourishes, only type set plainly and clearly, which keeps the eye on the information itself.

Meaning & Symbolism

Each part of the text names a place. Brasil marks the country, estado is the Portuguese word for state, and jct is the standard abbreviation for junction, the kind of marker found on road and rail maps. The number 313 works as a reference code, the sort used to pin down one location among many. Together the line reads like a wayfinding sign, a point where routes meet and a traveller needs to know exactly where they are. The design is about precision and place, and about the quiet pleasure of recognising a spot on the map.

Why It Suits This Glass

A mixing glass is a tall, curved vessel that is picked up, turned and carried, so the text wraps around its side and reads as it moves in the hand. The design rewards a second look, catching the eye during a stir and again when the glass is set down. It is an unusual choice for a bar or kitchen, and a good conversation starter for anyone who has ever found themselves at a junction with no clear sign in sight.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/brasil-estado-313-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-BRSSTD-16OZ-1FQBS-front.webp?v=1793674175
