brasil-estado-319-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
Brasil estado 319 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

Brasil estado 319 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

This design is pure typography: the words Brasil estado 319 jct set as a single, self-contained road-sign label, with nothing else competing for attention.

Visual Elements & Composition

The lettering is the whole composition. The words run in a plain, centred line, and each element reads in sequence: the country, the word for state, the route number, and the abbreviation for junction. The numerals 319 carry the most visual weight because they are the only figures in the piece, and they sit at the centre of the wording. Nothing decorative interrupts the text, so the eye moves straight through the sequence the way a driver reads a sign at speed.

Meaning & Symbolism

Each word points to a place. Brasil names the country, estado signals a state within it, and 319 jct marks a numbered route and a junction on that route. Together they form a precise navigational reference, the kind of identifier that tells a traveller exactly where a turn falls. The design takes that functional language and presents it as an artwork, so the directions become the subject rather than the instruction. Its regional reference to Brazil and its focus on alphanumeric identification are what give it meaning.

Made for the Hand, Read on the Move

A pint glass is a tall, curved surface that wraps around the hand, so the lettering wraps with it. As the glass is lifted and turned, the words slide across the eye in a way that suits a sign seen from a moving vehicle. It makes a good conversation starter at a table, especially for anyone who has ever made a wrong turn on a long road trip. Give it to a friend who has a Brazilian connection, a navigator in your life, or someone who collects place-name signs.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/brasil-estado-319-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-BRSSTD-16OZ-1FQBY-front.webp?v=1793674642
