The words and numerals sit in a structured arrangement with nothing competing for attention, so the eye reads the sequence straight through from left to right. The lettering carries the whole composition, and its clarity is the point. The palette follows the typographic presentation rather than decoration, which keeps the piece neutral, minimal and easy to read at a glance.

Meaning & Symbolism

Each element reads as a piece of wayfinding. "Brasil" names the country, "estado" is the Portuguese word for state, and "jct" is the standard abbreviation for junction. The number 570 works as a route identifier, the kind of code a driver would look for on a signpost. Together the words form a regional reference to Brazil, presented as the navigational information that marks a particular place on a map.

Why It Suits the Mixing Glass

A mixing glass is a vessel that gets lifted, tilted and turned in the hand, so the design is seen up close and from several angles as the glass moves. The sign-style lettering rewards that handling. Each character stays legible as the vessel rotates, and the sequence of words keeps its order whichever way it faces. It is a good match for a glass that doubles as a shaker and a serving piece, since the same clear, direct message is there every time it is picked up and poured from.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/brasil-estado-570-jct-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-BRSSTD-16OZ-1FQ7S-front.webp?v=1793681577
