The bear on the right is a canting figure, a visual pun based on the town's name. Betzigau derives from "Betzo," a shortened form of Bernhard, which itself references the word "bear." This design element also acknowledges the local legend that speaks of numerous bears once inhabiting the area's forests.

The combination of these elements links Betzigau's political past with its local name and lore, presenting a unique and meaningful design.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/deu-betzigau-coa-germany-coat-of-arms-shot-glass-15oz-15oz-position1.webp?v=1765590204
