Escudo de Lalueza (Spain) Shot Glass Design

This shot glass showcases the official coat of arms of Lalueza, a municipality in the province of Huesca, Aragón, Spain. The design, adopted in 1995, is rich in heraldic symbolism and reflects the local history.

Coat of Arms Description

The shield itself, a quartered design, immediately captures attention. The first quarter displays a blue (azure) field, upon which rests a gold (oro) cross, its edges precisely defined and bordered by four golden fleur-de-lis, representing purity and nobility. The second quarter features a striking checkered pattern of gold and red (gules), a visual element known as "jaquelado", comprised of fifteen squares in a 3x5 arrangement. This section pays homage to the noble Comenge family, prominent in the area during the 17th and 18th centuries.

The base, or "punta", of the shield is depicted in silver (plata). A surrounding border, called a "bordura", is meticulously composed of alternating gold and black (sable) segments, creating a visually interesting frame. Topping the design is an open royal crown, signifying the municipality's historical ties.

Symbolism and Meaning

Each element of the design contributes to its overall significance. The cross and fleur-de-lis speak of faith and heraldic tradition, while the jaquelado pattern represents the influential Comenge family. The overall arrangement of colors and the crown further reinforce the historical identity and the unique heritage of Lalueza. This coat of arms is more than just an emblem; it is a visual narrative of Lalueza's rich past.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
