Blue and white are the only colours in the composition, so the triangle does all the visual work against the open ground. The layout is clean and deliberately uncluttered.

Meaning & Symbolism

Flags of this kind identified a specific unit's command within the army, and this one dates from 1928, during the interwar years of the Hungarian state. Its reduced geometry reflects the formal heraldry of the period, where a unit was recognised by a simple, readable sign rather than pictorial detail.

Carried Close, Read Up Close

A mug is turned in the hand and seen at arm's length, so the blue triangle catches the eye each time the cup is lifted. The white field around it keeps the mark crisp from every angle the handle allows.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/flag-of-the-command-of-an-independent-cavalry-battalion-of-the-royal-hungarian-defence-forces-1928-hungary-white-coffee-mug-11oz-position1.webp?v=1756758735
https://gomugyourself.com/products/flag-of-the-command-of-an-independent-cavalry-battalion-of-the-royal-hungarian-defence-forces-1928-hungary-white-coffee-mug
