mg-431-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
MG-431 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

MG-431 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

This design takes the form of a Brazilian road sign, built around a single route designation that identifies one road in the national network.

Visual Elements & Composition

The composition is direct. The route code MG-431 and the word Brazil carry the whole design, with no decorative border, illustration or secondary motif competing for attention. The text is the image, so the eye lands on the identifier first and the country second. The arrangement is plain and legible, the way signage has to be when a driver reads it at a glance.

Meaning & Symbolism

In Brazil, road designations follow a state-and-number system. The "MG" prefix marks a road in Minas Gerais, one of the country's largest states, and the number places this particular route within that network. The sign therefore stands for navigation itself: a fixed point that tells you where you are and which road you are on. It is a design about identity rather than ornament, and its meaning lives in the code.

Made for the Mixing Glass

A mixing glass is lifted, tipped and poured, so a design on it is seen mostly in motion, as the glass turns in the hand. A route code suits that. Like a sign passed at speed, the designation is quick to find and easy to recognise once you know what you are looking at. It gives the glass a conversation starter for anyone who has driven, or hopes to drive, a road like this one, and a gift with a quiet joke for the friend who always knows the way.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/mg-431-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-MG431-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793757301
