p135-by-belarus-road-sign-shot-glass-15oz
P135-BY (Belarus) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

P135-BY (Belarus) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the P135-BY sign, a route marker from the national road network of the Republic of Belarus.

Visual Elements & Composition

The design is built around its code. The letter P, the numerals 135 and the suffix BY run together as one identifier, so the eye reads the whole designation at once rather than a picture with a caption. Nothing decorative competes with it. The layout is plain and direct, with the text carrying all of the composition, which suits a sign meant to be read quickly from a moving vehicle.

Meaning & Symbolism

Each character has a fixed job. The P marks the road as a republican, or national-level, route. The 135 identifies this particular corridor among the others in the series, and BY names the country. These are navigational signs, not regulatory ones: they tell drivers which route they are on and how it connects towns and regions, rather than issuing warnings or instructions. That makes the sign a small piece of cartography, a label that turns a network of roads into something that can be followed and mapped.

Made for the Hand, Read Up Close

A shot glass is small and held close, so the marker is read at arm's length, the way a passenger glances at a route number on a map. The format suits a design this compact. Pour, lift and the designation sits right in front of you, a neat reminder of a road you may never have driven. It makes a thoughtful, slightly cheeky gift for anyone who has ever navigated by number.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/p135-by-belarus-road-sign-shot-glass-15oz-GMY-SHOT-PBY-1P5OZ-1FT73-front.webp?v=1793659481
