POL województwo sandomierskie COA Shot Glass Design

This shot glass showcases the heraldic representation of the Polotsk Voivodeship during the Second Polish Republic (1918–1939), a design officially adopted on February 19, 1921, by heraldic artist Zygmunt Lorentz.

Shield and Division

The primary visual element is a red Iberian-style shield, divided horizontally into two distinct sections. This division immediately establishes the structure and key symbolism of the design.

Upper Field: The Polish Eagle

The upper field of the shield is dominated by a majestic white eagle. The eagle is depicted facing left, its golden beak and legs contrasting sharply against its white plumage. A golden crown adorns its head, signifying sovereignty and power.

Lower Field: The Knight on Horseback

The lower field features a knight clad in silver armor, riding a white horse. The knight holds a blue shield, adorned with a prominent golden cross of Lorraine, a symbol often associated with nobility and heraldic tradition. In his other hand, the knight wields a sword.

Symbolism and Meaning

This combined imagery embodies the historical union of the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The eagle, representing Poland, is placed alongside the knight, symbolizing the shared heritage of the region across Polish and Belarusian territories and their deep historical connections.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
