The numerals 6, 7 and 2 sit centred inside a white rounded rectangle, framed by a green rounded-rectangle border that repeats the same soft-cornered shape. The flat vector style leaves no shading or ornament, so the number reads instantly, which is exactly how a road sign has to work.

Meaning & Symbolism

Route markers are built to be understood at a glance by drivers moving past at speed. Here that function is the subject: the number 672 identifies one specific roadway within Saskatchewan's network of rural municipality highways. The design follows the conventions of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Canada and the Saskatchewan Provincial Highway Sign Control Regulations, so its shape, colour and lettering speak the visual language of Canadian roads. It is a modern piece of signage, and its restraint evokes the open distances of the Canadian prairies.

Made for the Coffee Break

A road sign is read in a moment, and a mug is read the same way: a quick glance across the kitchen table before the first sip. The rounded border and central numerals fill the curved wall of the mug evenly, so the route number wraps around as you turn it in your hand. For anyone who has ever spent a long stretch of road counting markers, this one turns that memory into a morning ritual.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/saskatchewan-route-672-canada-road-sign-white-coffee-mug-GMY-MUG-SSKRT-11OZ-1FPA2-front.webp?v=1793860759
