The layout is direct and uncluttered, reading the way a roadside marker does: one code, one place, and nothing decorative competing with the lettering.

Meaning & Symbolism

The SP prefix places the route within São Paulo state's road network, and 064 is the number it carries on that network. A road sign exists to tell a traveller where they are and where the road leads, so the artwork carries the idea of a journey and a sense of place rather than a symbolic narrative.

Reading the Sign on a Mixing Glass

A mixing glass is tall, clear and narrower toward its base, so the sign wraps a curved surface that you see whole as you stir or pour. Held in one hand, the lettering turns slowly as the glass moves, and the clear glass lets the drink and the design share the same view. It makes a thoughtful gift for someone who has travelled to Brazil or has always meant to, a small souvenir of a road that leads somewhere worth going.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/sp-064-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-SP064-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793687583
