sp-081-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
SP-081 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

SP-081 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

The SP-081 Brazil design takes its identity from a single place and a single catalogue number, and it presents both plainly.

Visual Elements & Composition

The design's organising feature is its text. The words Brazil and the numerals SP-081 carry the composition, with the catalogue code marking the series and the country name marking the subject. Nothing in the presentation competes with them. The layout is focused and uncluttered, so the lettering reads first and the rest of the piece follows from it.

Meaning & Symbolism

Brazil is the subject, and the design is built around that association. The regional theme places the piece within a body of work organised by geography, and the SP-081 designation keeps it tied to a specific catalogue entry. The meaning rests on those two anchors: a country, and the identifier that sets this design apart within its series.

Reading the Design on a Mixing Glass

A mixing glass is tall and held close, and its sides turn in front of the eye as it is lifted and poured. Lettering on a surface like this is read as the glass moves, so a short, direct name suits it better than a crowded scene. The Brazil designation sits clearly on the side of the glass, where it is seen each time the glass is picked up, and the catalogue number stays legible as a quiet mark of the series it belongs to.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/sp-081-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-SP081-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793688132
