sp-098-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
SP-098 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

SP-098 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

SP-098 is a graphic design devoted to Brazil, built around the nation's identity and the cultural and geographical signifiers people associate with it.

Visual Elements & Composition

This is a focused graphic concept with no competing subjects. Everything in it points back to Brazil, so the eye settles on one clear idea rather than wandering across a busy scene. The title frames the piece as a road-sign style graphic, a format built to be read at a glance, and the SP-098 (Brazil) designation places the country at the centre of the work.

Meaning & Symbolism

Brazil is the subject of this work, and its theme carries three threads: national identity, regional pride and the signifiers of place. A design like this works as a tribute, turning a country into an image people can carry with them. The SP-098 designation also files the piece within a thematic collection, which keeps it easy to identify among related designs.

On the Mixing Glass

A mixing glass is held close and turned in the hand, so a design on it is read at arm's length and in pieces as the glass moves. The narrow lower section sits easily in the palm, and the design stays in view as you lift, pour and set it down. Each round puts the Brazil graphic in front of you on the table, a reminder of the country the whole design is built around.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/sp-098-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-SP098-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793688592
