sp-134-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
SP-134 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

SP-134 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

This design takes the form of a road sign, a familiar piece of roadside language translated into a graphic that reads at a glance.

Visual Elements & Composition

The artwork is built around a single sign-like panel, with its composition kept simple and direct. The design's name, SP-134, is set as the main text, so the alphanumeric code is the element the eye lands on first. Its mood is neutral, and the layout favours clarity over decoration, the way a highway marker has to be read quickly from a moving car.

Meaning & Symbolism

The code follows Brazilian state highway numbering. The SP prefix identifies São Paulo state, and 134 is the route number within its network. The design's themes of Brazil, geography and culture come from that system: a road number is a small, precise way of mapping a place, and the sign stands for the routes that connect towns across the country.

Designed for the Pint Glass

A road sign is meant to be read while you pass it, and a pint glass offers a similar experience. The design wraps around a tall, curved surface, so the code runs around the glass as you turn it in your hand, with each glance revealing a little more of the route. It suits anyone who likes a piece of the open road with their drink, and a useful conversation starter for anyone who has ever followed a Brazilian highway.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/sp-134-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-SP134-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793737277
