The code SP-316 sits at the centre as the single subject, with nothing competing for attention. The lettering and numerals carry the image, and the layout reads quickly, as a sign does when you pass it at speed. Nothing decorative distracts from the code.

Meaning & Symbolism

The "SP" prefix points to São Paulo, one of Brazil's states, and SP-316 is a state highway within it. Road designations like this one are how a region organises its routes, so the sign stands for navigation, distance and the everyday network that links towns across the state. Brazil supplies the context, and the code supplies the destination.

Reading the Glass at Arm's Length

A road sign only works when it is read at a glance, and this glass suits that. It is a tall vessel that wraps a curved surface around the hand, so the design stays in view as you lift and turn it. Whoever receives it as a gift, whether a friend who has driven that stretch or someone who simply likes a good map detail, will find the code waiting with every pour.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/sp-316-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-SP316-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793744201
