The SP-329 code is the dominant element, with its alphanumeric characters given clear, direct presentation and nothing competing for attention. The Brazil identifier sits alongside it as the second half of the pairing. There is no decorative border, no background clutter and no illustrative flourish, so the eye moves straight from the code to the place it names.

Meaning & Symbolism

The "SP" prefix in Brazilian highway designations identifies a route within the state of São Paulo, so the code ties a specific road to a specific region. Read together, the two elements show how a technical identifier becomes a geographic address. The design is a study in that connection: a catalogue number that means something only once you know where it leads.

Designed for the Mixing Glass

A mixing glass is tall, narrow at the base and held in the hand while it is turned, stirred or poured, so the design is seen in motion rather than from a fixed distance. As the glass rotates, the code and the place name pass in and out of view, the way signs do from a moving car. For anyone who has ever followed a road number across a map, this is a clever way to keep one on the bar cart.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/sp-329-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-SP329-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793741780
