sp-364-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
SP-364 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

SP-364 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

This design takes a road-sign format and sets a single alphanumeric code, SP-364, against the name of Brazil.

Visual Elements & Composition

The composition is text-led and formal. The identifier SP-364 is the central element, with the word Brazil placed alongside it so the two read as one labelled unit. Nothing decorative competes with the lettering, and the layout keeps to a plain, directional sign structure, which is why the piece reads as a catalogue marker rather than a picture.

Meaning & Symbolism

The code carries the meaning. The SP prefix is the one Brazil's São Paulo state uses on its road designations, so the sign links a regional route code to the nation it belongs to. The design belongs to a structured series, and its themes are geography, classification and national identity. Its purpose is to pair a unique code with its place, so the code and the country are read together.

Designed for the Hand

A mixing glass is lifted and turned in the hand, and its narrower lower section sits comfortably in the grip, so the design is seen at close range and from changing angles. This is a good match for a sign-style label: the code is read at arm's length in a single glance, then held a little longer on the next look. It makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who collects route codes, travels in Brazil, or simply likes their drinkware with a point of reference.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/sp-364-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-SP364-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793702242
