Its name and presentation put Brazil at the centre, with the road-sign framing setting the layout. Nothing is added for decoration. The artwork gives the country a clear, recognisable presence and lets that single idea carry the whole piece.

Meaning & Symbolism

A road sign is a way of pointing somewhere, and this design points to Brazil. Its catalogue themes are Brazil, Geography and Travel, so the artwork reads as a marker of place and journey: a signal that you are heading toward a particular country rather than a general idea of it.

Reading the Design on a Mixing Glass

A mixing glass is a tall, curved vessel that the hand wraps around when it is lifted, shaken or poured, so the design sits in view on the side you turn toward you. Because the road sign is the whole idea, it works best as one clear image seen from the glass's full height. Whoever holds it gets Brazil as a destination in plain sight, which suits a traveller's gift or a drinks collection that celebrates a place.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/sp-374-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-SP374-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793702375
