Its layout follows the conventions of a road sign: one clear central motif, a restrained arrangement of shapes, and nothing crowding the edges. The SP-676 code sits at the heart of the design, and its numerals carry the composition, reading quickly and directly like a sign passed at speed.

Meaning & Symbolism

The "SP" prefix identifies a state road in São Paulo, Brazil's most populous state, and the number 676 marks this particular route within the network. Road signs are some of the most functional graphics a country produces, so this design turns a piece of everyday navigation into a statement about place. It speaks to Brazil's geography and to the culture of the roads that cross its landscapes, from city traffic to long journeys between towns.

Made for the Mixing Glass

A sixteen-ounce mixing glass is tall and curved, and it is held and turned in the hand while the drink is poured, so the sign wraps around a surface you see from every angle. Each turn brings another part of the design into view, the way a driver catches the next post on a long road. Gift it to someone who has a road trip, a Brazilian connection or a taste for good signage, and it will get used as much as it gets admired.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/sp-676-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-SP676-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793701636
