sp-696-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
SP-696 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

SP-696 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

The SP-696 Brazil design is built as a road sign, a single bold idea set down with nothing around it to distract from the country at its centre.

Visual Elements & Composition

The composition is deliberately plain. One central subject, Brazil, holds the frame, and no border of ornament or secondary scene competes with it. The layout reads the way a road sign does, at a glance and from a distance, with the country as the single point of focus. The design is tagged with a neutral mood, so it speaks through clarity of shape rather than drama.

Meaning & Symbolism

The artwork is tied to Brazil through its name and its themes of geography, culture and regional identity. The code SP-696 works as a numbered identifier, placing the piece in a series of country-themed graphics, each one a dedicated tribute to a single place. A road sign exists to point the way, and here that idea becomes a marker: a way of saying where you are, or where you are headed, through the culture and geography the design names.

Why It Suits the Mixing Glass

A mixing glass is lifted, tilted and turned as it is stirred and poured, so the design travels past the eye with every movement. It wraps a tall, curved surface rather than sitting flat, and each turn brings a new section into view. A road sign is meant to be read as you pass it, one side at a time, and this artwork is read the same way, in motion, as the glass moves in the hand. It is a fitting pairing for a piece made to be picked up, passed around and poured from.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/sp-696-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-SP696-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793701942
