sp-754-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
SP-754 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

SP-754 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

The SP-754 Brazil design is built around one subject: Brazil, the country, which is both its theme and its only listed focus.

Visual Elements & Composition

The design is framed as a single, direct image rather than a scatter of motifs. Its catalogue identifier, SP-754, sits beside the name, so the piece reads as one numbered entry in a series. Nothing in the design is decorative for its own sake; the artwork is arranged to say one thing about Brazil, clearly and without clutter.

Meaning & Symbolism

Brazil is the largest country in South America, and the design takes that national identity as its starting point. The “Road Sign” wording in the title points to the sign-like, graphic language of wayfinding: a signal that tells you where you are and invites you to keep going. Read that way, the artwork is less a picture of a place than a marker of one.

Pouring, Passing and Pointing Out Brazil

A mixing glass is a tool you hold, tilt and turn, so the design gets seen in motion: at the bar cart, across the table, passed from hand to hand. Set against the curve of the glass, the artwork turns as the drink is stirred, which suits a piece that is really about travel and direction. It makes a cheeky, thoughtful gift for anyone who has been to Brazil, or who has been meaning to go.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/sp-754-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-SP754-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793694524
