sp-915-brazil-road-sign-white-coffee-mug
SP-915 (Brazil) (Road Sign) White Coffee Mug

SP-915 (Brazil) (Road Sign) White Coffee Mug

A pentagonal state-road shield in black on white, carrying the route marker SP 915 in plain, heavy letters.

Visual Elements & Composition

White covers most of the design, and black is kept for the pentagon's outline and the lettering. The shape is a single closed pentagon, centred and unadorned. SP sits above 915, both set in bold block characters that stand out from the white. The flat vector treatment leaves no gradient or texture, so the shield keeps crisp, hard edges.

Meaning & Symbolism

The pentagon is the form used on state route shields, the markers that number roads so travellers can follow them. SP is the standard abbreviation for the Brazilian state of São Paulo, which places the route inside that state, while 915 is the number that identifies this particular road. The design honours Brazilian road signage by showing the shield on its own.

Turned in the Hand

A mug is turned as it is lifted, so the pentagon passes across the eye from every angle. The white ceramic ground keeps the black outline and figures sharp, and the shield stays readable as the cup rotates. On a desk beside the first coffee of the day, it reads as a small roadside marker set down for the morning.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/sp-915-brazil-road-sign-white-coffee-mug-GMY-MUG-SP915-11OZ-front.webp?v=1793831427
