sp-927-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
SP-927 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

SP-927 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

This piece takes a single designation, SP-927, and pairs it with Brazil, so the code itself becomes the subject of the artwork.

Visual Elements & Composition

The design is built around its title. The alphanumeric code SP-927 sits alongside the word Brazil, and that pairing carries the composition. Nothing in the design is decorative: the lettering and numerals are the focus, presented plainly and without ornament, so the eye reads the designation first and the country second.

Meaning & Symbolism

The work sits between two languages: the structured logic of a catalogue or signage code and the warmer language of national pride. A designation like SP-927 looks like a reference number, yet here it is tied to a country, which turns an administrative label into a way of pointing at a place. The artwork treats Brazil as its primary subject and offers it as a tribute, using its identity rather than any single image as the anchor.

Made for the Mixing Glass

A mixing glass is handled close and turned in the hand as it is lifted, so the design is seen in motion rather than from across a room. The designation reads from the side as the glass rotates, one line of code and one country name passing in front of you with each pour. It makes a practical companion for a cocktail shelf, and a considered one for anyone who keeps a bit of Brazil close at hand.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/sp-927-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-SP927-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793698808
