sp-932-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz
SP-932 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

SP-932 (Brazil) (Road Sign) Pint Glass 16oz

SP-932 takes the familiar shape of a road sign and gives it a national subject, so a symbol built for directions becomes a statement about Brazil.

Visual Elements & Composition

The composition follows the road-sign format: a single bold graphic, organised the way a sign is organised, with the Brazil theme carried by the central motif rather than by scattered decoration. Nothing competes for attention. The design reads as one clear image, and the title's lettering, the Brazil label and the SP-932 reference, is the only text the work carries.

Meaning & Symbolism

A road sign is a language of its own. It tells travellers where they are, which way to go and what lies ahead. Set against the Brazil theme, that language becomes a way of marking place. The design ties national identity to the everyday act of navigation, presenting a country as a destination you can point to.

On the Mixing Glass

A mixing glass is lifted, tilted and turned in the hand, so this sign is seen up close and from every side. The design wraps around the curved body of the vessel, and its outline shifts with each angle as the glass moves. Stir, pour and the road keeps unfolding around the glass, a cheeky little journey for whoever is holding the drink.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0703/5204/4312/files/sp-932-brazil-road-sign-pint-glass-16oz-GMY-MIXI-SP932-16OZ-front.webp?v=1793698984
