The 106th Rescue Wing is a unit of the United States Air Force (USAF) that operates under the Air Combat Command (ACC). Headquartered at Francis S. Gabreski Airport in Westhampton Beach, New York, this wing primarily focuses on search and rescue missions, as well as combat rescue operations. The wing is manned by the 106th Rescue Squadron and the 103rd Airborne Wing, which operate HC-130P/N Combat King II aircraft and HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters respectively.
