The 11th Wing is a unit of the United States Air Force, part of the Air Combat Command. Established on April 1, 2008, it replaced the former 11th Air Force and assumed responsibility for providing air and space power to U.S. Northern Command (NORTHCOM) and North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).
