Aviation Center and School 2 (U.S. Army) The Aviation Center and School 2 (ACS-2) is a U.S. Army training facility located at Fort Rucker, Alabama. It provides comprehensive helicopter pilot and maintenance training for the U.S. Army aviation community and allied forces. The school trains both officers and enlisted personnel in various aircrew and support roles, ensuring readiness for worldwide operations. Established in 1950, ACS-2 is one of two aviation centers within the U.S. Army Aviation Branch (the other being Aviation Center and School 1 at Fort Sherman, Florida).
