The Flag of Kawartha Lakes is the official symbol representing the regional municipality of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, Canada. Adopted on January 23, 1999, it was designed by John R. S. Pratt and is unique among Canadian municipal flags for its use of three different field divisions and colors. The flag's upper hoist quarter features a green field representing the forests of the region, with three gold maple leaves symbolizing the municipality's founding counties: Northumberland, Victoria, and Peterborough. The lower hoist quarter is red, symbolizing courage, strength, and the sacrifices made during war. The fly half is divided diagonally from top right to bottom left into white and blue, symbolizing water and sky, respectively, representing the many lakes in Kawartha Lakes. The flag reflects the rich history, natural beauty, and diverse communities within the region of Kawartha Lakes.
