The 102nd Infantry Division is a unit of the United States Army, known for its significant role during World War II. Originally activated in October 1942 at Camp Polk, Louisiana, the division was later deployed to Europe under the U.S. Third Army. Known as the "Ozark Division," the 102nd took part in several major battles, including the Normandy landings and the Battle of the Bulge.
