103rd Infantry Regiment (U.S. Army) White Coffee Mug

The 103rd Infantry Regiment is a military infantry unit of the United States Army. Established in 1917 during World War I, it has since played significant roles in various conflicts throughout its history. Originally part of the National Guard, the regiment was federalized and served under the U.S. Army's regular component. Notable engagements include the Battle of Belleau Wood in 1918 and combat actions during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The unit, known as "The Terrific Tenth," is currently part of the 2nd Infantry Division and has been stationed at Fort Lewis (now Joint Base Lewis-McChord) since the early 1950s.
