The 124th Fighter Wing (USAF) is a unit of the United States Air Force reserve command, stationed primarily at Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield, Massachusetts. Its mission involves performing air defense and air sovereignty operations for the U.S. Northeastern region. The 124th Fighter Wing operates the F-15C/D Eagle aircraft, a twin-engine, all-weather tactical fighter designed to gain and maintain air supremacy in aerial combat. The unit is a part of the Air Combat Command and reports to the New England Air Defense Sector.
