The 480th Intelligence Wing (480 AIW) is a United States Air Force unit stationed at Royal Air Force Base Lakenheath, Suffolk, England. Established in 1951, the wing's primary mission involves providing all-source intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance to support joint warfighting commanders worldwide. This includes collecting, processing, analyzing, and disseminating imagery, signals, and human intelligence data. The wing also supports air operations, missile warning, and space control missions for the United States Air Forces in Europe and NATO. The 480 AIW is part of the Air Combat Command and falls under the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) enterprise of the U.S. Department of Defense.
