The Flag of Jujuy Province, Argentina, is a bicolor flag featuring horizontal bands of light blue (toward the hoist) and red (towards the fly). The flag was officially adopted on May 18, 1957. The light blue band symbolizes the sky over the Province, while the red band represents the blood spilled during the independence struggle in Jujuy. The provincial coat of arms is centered in the middle of the red band. This emblem consists of a shield supported by two Andean condors, with a church and a quipu (an Inca record-keeping device) at the top, symbolizing the blending of indigenous and Spanish cultures. Beneath the shield, there is a ribbon inscribed with the provincial motto: "Jujuy es libertad" ("Jujuy is liberty"). The flag serves as a visual representation of Jujuy Province's unique history, culture, and identity within Argentina.
