Flag of Nunavut Canada - Color Changing Coffee Mug

The Flag of Nunavut, one of the three territories in Canada, was officially adopted on October 30, 1999. This banner features a white eight-pointed maple leaf at its center, symbolizing unity within the Inuit population and their relationship with the rest of Canada. The field is divided into three equal horizontal stripes: white on top representing the purity of the snow and ice, blue in the middle representing the clear skies and clean waters, and the bottom half is gull gray to represent the shoreline, the earth, and the resilience of the Inuit people. The flag design was chosen through a territorial contest in 1967, with Mary Simon's design selected as the winner in 1998.
