The 167th Infantry Regiment is a United States Army infantry unit, part of the active-duty force under the U.S. Army's Infantry Branch. Established during World War I in 1918, it was initially assigned to the National Guard. Throughout its history, the 167th has seen service in various conflicts, including World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The regiment is currently based at Fort Wainwright, Alaska, under the command of the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division. The 167th Infantry Regiment's lineage and honors are carried on by the 48th Brigade Combat Team (BCT), headquartered in San Antonio, Texas.
