Description:

On a scarlet rectangle arched at the top and bottom, a yellow stylized missile is centered vertically. Resting on the missile's nose is a blue bunch of palmetto leaves, surmounted by a white crescent moon. To the right of the missile, there is a stack of three black cannonballs. The insignia is outlined with a yellow border.

Symbolism:

Scarlet and yellow represent the colors of Artillery. The stylized missile signifies the Brigade’s weapon systems. The three cannonballs refer to historical artillery weapons. The blue palmetto bunch and white crescent moon are elements from the South Carolina state flag, symbolizing the unit's home.

Background:

The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved effective September 1, 2015.
