The 91st Space Wing (USAF) is a United States Air Force unit stationed at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado. It falls under the operational command of the Air Force Space Command's Eighth Air Force and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Global Positioning System's (GPS) satellite constellation, as well as providing support to other GPS-related missions such as the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS). The wing also oversees several other space-related operations, including command and control of the Defense Support Program (DSP) satellites. Additionally, it is a key participant in various Air Force Space Command exercises and initiatives aimed at enhancing space capabilities and ensuring the readiness of the US's space assets.
