The Flag of Kutaisi, Georgia is the official flag used by the autonomous region of Ajara within the Georgian republic. The design consists of a field divided into three horizontal bands of equal size in the colors of green, white, and red, which are also present in the national flag of Georgia. In the center, there is a blue square occupying approximately two-thirds of the white band. This blue square contains a golden star with five points, symbolizing unity and peace. The flag was officially adopted on May 17, 1991. It represents the unique cultural identity of Kutaisi while maintaining strong ties to the Georgian nation as a whole.
