The Flag of Lublin, Poland, is the official symbol representing the Lublin Voivodeship, one of 16 administrative divisions in Poland. The flag features two horizontal bands of white and red, with the coat of arms of Lublin in its center. The white band takes up approximately 1/3 of the total height of the flag, followed by a larger red band taking up the remaining 2/3. The coat of arms, which is placed centrally on the white band, consists of a shield divided into four quarters. The upper left quarter displays a golden crowned eagle, symbolizing Poland; the lower left quarter shows Saint Michael the Archangel slaying a dragon, representing Lublin's patron saint; the upper right quarter presents the arms of Mazovia, an ancient region encompassing Lublin; and the lower right quarter exhibits the arms of Rawa County. The flag was officially adopted on October 7, 1998, and is widely used in official events, ceremonies, and public buildings throughout the Lublin Voivodeship to signify regional pride and identity.
