The Lesser Coat of Arms of Luxembourg is a heraldic symbol used as an alternative version of the national coat of arms in Luxembourg. It is primarily employed on municipal and departmental levels, as well as by various organizations within the country. This emblem consists of a shield divided into four quarters. The first quarter features three lions passant guardant (walking and protecting) in the field azure, representing the Duchy of Luxembourg. The second quarter displays a lion rampant (standing upright) or in the field gules, symbolizing the County of Ardennes. The third quarter portrays a lion rampant or in the field sable, representing the County of Luxembourg. Lastly, the fourth quarter showcases a bend sinister argent between three fleurs-de-lis azure, which represents the House of Nassau. The Lesser Coat of Arms does not include the grand ducal crown and mantling found in the Great Coat of Arms.
